‘Covid containment crucial to recovery’

Economic recovery is dependent on containing the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic, Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez 3rd said on Thursday, after the government announced that the country’s economic growth posted a 0.2-percent contraction in the first quarter of the year.
