Metro Manila has sizzled to a heat index temperature of 41 degrees Celsius on Monday, its second highest for the year, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
The weather bureau registered a temperature of 36.5°C and a relative humidity of 43 percent at the Pagasa Science Garden weather station in Diliman, Quezon City at 3:45 p.m.
