THE provincial governments of Cebu and Southern Leyte have lifted the ban on hogs, pork and pork by-products from Mindanao free of African swine fever (ASF), allowing these to be traded and processed to ease the shortage amid the extended enhanced community quarantine.
Cebu City Mayor Edgardo Labella issued Executive Order 072, lifting the ban on ASF-free live hogs, pork and pork by-products in the province.
