University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) stalwarts Maxine Esteban and Ricci Rivero found joy and purpose in the country’s battle against the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic.

Ateneo de Manila University’s star fencer Esteban donated portion of her stipend from the Philippine Sports Commission to her fundraising drive called “A Small Thing Goes A Long Way.”
