PROPAGANDA is just like an intricately designed portico of a structure that could easily collapse if based on shaky foundations. If the prime objective is just to display grandeur, the scheme will fail if there’s nothing beneath. While righting a wrong is generally acceptable, righting a wrong with another wrong will surely hasten the expected dismemberment of the total structure. As they say, too much focus on the past and on the future will result in zero yield in present time. And this is what is happening now. This is one outlook that will make me happy being proved wrong.
Yesterday was the death anniversary of one of the most revered chief justices in Philippine history. It was on this day that Chief Justice (CJ) Renato Corona died of cardiac arrest — 1:48 a.m., Friday morning, April 29, 2016. He was then 67.
