Firms cannot force employees to work during pandemic– DoLE

EMPLOYERS and companies cannot force their employees to report to work during the coronavirus pandemic, the Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE) said on Monday.

Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello 3rd said in a text message that employers could not compel their workers to show up at work during the health crisis.
