San Jose: The uncertainty caused by the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), which has put several students at the isolation of their homes and some at their dormitories, has triggered some mental health issues that need be addressed immediately.

Donna Ibay, registered guidance counselor of the Occidental Mindoro State College (OMSC), said some of their students, especially those stranded at their dormitories, have sought counseling online because they were experiencing stress, sleeplessness, overthinking, and loneliness.
