COTABATO CITY: The month of Ramadan is exclusively observed by Muslims but the provincial government of Basilan whose governor is a Muslim does not discriminate whether Muslims and non-Muslims in terms of giving benefits during this Muslim holy month.

Gov. Jim Salliman recently announced that this coming week, every provincial employee irrespective of religion is entitled to receive the Ramadan “bonus” in the same manner they are receiving the Christmas bonus during the month of December.
