THE Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) on Saturday announced it was considering the release of prisoners and detainees to decongest prisons to minimize the spread of the novel coronavirus inside penitentiaries.
On Friday, the BuCor reported that an inmate at the New Bilibid Prisons (NBP) in Muntinlupa City died of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).
