PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte has expressed support to Sen. Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go’s proposed Balik Probinsiya (Back to the Province) program by providing incentives and opportunities to Filipinos who wish to relocate to the provinces when the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic is over.

In a recorded public address aired over state-run PTV4 on Friday, the President said Go’s proposed relocation of people from Metro Manila to their home provinces was a good idea since it would bring a sense of hope amid the Covid-19 crisis.
