DoTr dividends to government surge by 73.8%

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) reported on Thursday that it remitted P19.3 billion worth of dividends to the government this year, up 73.87 percent from last year’s P11.1 billion.

In a statement, the DOTr said the amount was a 74-percent increase from the P11.1 billion last year, and that it came from its government- owned and -controlled corporations (GOCCs).
