BACOLOD CITY: The two Negros provinces have started tightening their sea border security amid reports of a mass exodus of residents from neighboring provinces in fear of getting infected by the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).

Negros Occidental Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson on Sunday warned owners and captains of pump boats and fishing vessels against bringing in passengers from the islands of Panay and Cebu without going through protocols imposed by the provincial government
