The Department of Trade and Industry-Export Marketing Bureau (DTI-EMB) on Monday urged all Philippine exporters to the European Union (EU) to register with the EU Registered Exporter System (EU REX) before its June 30, 2020 deadline to enjoy preferential tariffs under the bloc’s Generalized System of Preferences Plus.
The EU REX is a system of self-certification, with a Statement of Origin replacing the Certificate of Origin (CO) Form A. After the deadline has passed, the EU will no longer accept the CO Form A.
