MARAWI CITY: Lanao del Sur Gov. Mamintal Adiong Jr. asked his constituents to perform the Taraweeh, the Ramadan nightly congregations, at their homes in the wake of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic.

The Taraweeh is observed immediately after performing the evening prayers Maghrib and Isha during the holy month of Ramadan, which may start on April 24 depending on the sighting of the moon.
