THE Western Mindanao Command (WestMinCom) based in Camp Navarro in Calarian, Zamboanga City has mobilized the Armed Forces of the Philippines-Joint Task Force Sulu (AFP-JTFS) to continue its pursuit of the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) terrorists encountered on Friday.
Maj. Arvin Encinas, WestMinCom spokesman, on Saturday told The Manila Times that Lt. Gen. Cirilito Sobejana, commander of the WestMinCom, directed the AFP-JTFS to not neglect and to take the lead role in the strict enforcement of the enhanced community quarantine in Mindanao to control the coronavirus pandemic.
