THE Makati City government has extended the deadlines on the payment of business licenses, realty taxes and other fees and charges, as well as the suspension of penalties, interest and surcharges, until May 30 due to enhanced community quarantine (ECQ).
In a statement on Saturday, Mayor Mar-Len Abigail Binay said that the City Council has passed City Ordinance No. 2020-090 approving the said extensions, in line with ongoing measures undertaken by the city that encourage people to stay at home to control the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).
