THE Philippines’ first sky hotel paid tribute to the selfless service of all frontliners against the coronavirus pandemic by lighting the skyline a brilliant red. Marco Polo Ortigas Manila stands as one of the Ortigas Centre’s tallest structures, and is a heartbeat away from some of the leading medical institutions in the fight against Covid-19. This poignant marker of solidarity started last April 9, coinciding with the country’s commemoration of the National Day of Valor.
This act of support is among the hotel’s ongoing initiatives with the city of Pasig. Around 1000 soap bars have also been turned over by the Hotel for the city’s healthcare workers for hygiene and safety.
