SAN JOSE, Occidental Mindoro: Employees of the Occidental Mindoro State College (OMSC) have constantly fed more than 100 displaced informal workers and underprivileged individuals in Barangay Pag-asa since the enhanced community quarantine was imposed last month. Domingo Pascual Jr., employee of OMSC, told The Manila Times that the affected individuals and family members were daily wage earners and were affected by the quarantine. Pascual said he and his colleagues in OMSC had taken the initiative to pull out their own resources to conduct a daily breakfast feeding program for them. He said friends and family from abroad, who saw the initiative had since contributed additional funds for them to continue what they have started. OMSC also gave out snacks and eggs to frontliners.
