SAN Miguel Corporation has donated over 8,400 sacks of flour to local government units and bakers around Metro Manila to help keep small businesses afloat while ensuring that affordable and nutritious bread is available to their respective communities. A 25-kg bag of flour can make about 1,600 pieces of pandesal (bread rolls).

SMC president and chief operating officer Ramon Ang said the donation of flour, the main ingredient in making bread, will supplement the local government units’ food rations and provide added nutrition needed to help keep citizens healthy against the Covid-19 pandemic.
