Junior officer tests negative for Covid-19 after death

The junior army officer who succumbed due to acute bronchitis has turned out to be negative of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19), the Armed Forces of the Philippines announced on Tuesday.

Brig. Gen. Edgard Arevalo, AFP spokesman, told reporters that 2Lt. Vince Magbanua's test for Covid-19 yielded negative results, according to the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine.
