President Rodrigo Duterte has raised the possibility of selling public properties if the government "runs out" of money that will be used for its efforts to fight the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic.

During his meeting with the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Disease in Malacañang on Wednesday, Duterte said his last resort was to sell government properties, including state-owned institutions Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) and Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) which were both located in Pasay City.
