CAMP REGINALDO ABELON, Pagadian City: Three six-wheeler trucks loaded with unregistered cigarette-making machines and several boxes of fake tobacco products were confiscated by law enforcers at Purok Uno, Lantian in Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur. Police provincial director Col. Redentor Rebusto said the raid was conducted by a team of policemen, personnel of the Bureau of Customs, National Bureau of Investigation and Bureau of Internal Revenue and by Labangan municipal Mayor Eduardo Relacion. The raiding team estimated the market value of the seized cigarettes, hidden in several cartoons covered with thick canvass, at more than P5 million. The smuggled products were supposed to be delivered to buyers in this capital city.
