The Clark Investors and Locators Association (CILA) donated personal protective equipment (PPE) to workers in the frontline against the coronavirus pandemic as part of its “Help Us Help Our Frontliners” campaign. “The donated materials which include N95 masks, face shields, gloves, protective suits, goggles, shoe covers, alcohol and disinfectants are being distributed initially to Jose B. Lingad Memorial Regional Hospital in the City of San Fernando and Rafael Lazatin Memorial Medical Center in Angeles City,” CILA Chairman Irineo Alvaro said. Alvaro also said aside from CILA, the Michigan-based World Medical Relief Inc. headed by Kapampangan George Samson, was facilitating donations for PPE sets and other medical supplies for frontliners and health centers. Meanwhile, semiconductor industry giants SFA Semicon Philippines and Texas Instruments have also provided PPE such as bunny suits and face masks to various local hospitals through the Clark Development Corp. (CDC) Health and Sanitation Division. CDC, in turn, donated thermal scanners and PPE sets to various hospitals in Pampanga and Tarlac. Some of the locators who extended help and efforts are Yokohama Tires Philippines Inc., Aderans, Amertron Inc., SMK Electronics and Midori Hotel and Casino. The list of Clark locator-donors also include ETS Products, LSG Industrial Supplies, Clark Trading Corp., NKD International, Synergy Polymer Corp., Women of Aleitheia, SGV & Co.-Clark, Mirej Hotel and Cargohaus.
