Armed Forces chief Gen. Felimon Santos Jr. has contracted the coronavirus disease (Covid-19), with several officials he recently interacted with being forced to undergo self-quarantine.

Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana on Friday confirmed to reporters in a message that Santos tested positive for Covid-19, based on the results that the latter received on Thursday.
