At least 22 nurses of the Makati Medical Center (MMC) are under home quarantine following their exposure to patients with coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), the hospital’s medical director said Thursday.

Dr. Saturnino Javier said Sen. Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel 3rd, a Covid-19 patient who brought his pregnant wife to the hospital on Tuesday, had exposed 6 to 8 medical personnel to the virus.
