A doctor who was abducted last month in Jolo, Sulu was released by his Abu Sayyaf captors, the military's Western Mindanao Command (WestMinCom) announced on Wednesday.
Lt. Gen. Cirilito Sobejana, the WestMinCom commander, confirmed the release of Daniel Moreno at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday after members of the Abu Sayyaf were spotted at Barangay Bangalan in Indanan.
