THE Philippine Life Insurance Association Inc. (PLIA) joined hands with the Insurance Commission (IC) to expedite the release of insurance claims amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic in the country.

In a statement on Tuesday, PLIA announced its partnership with the commission to adopt a special claims management process for Covid-19-related claims that will ensure relaxed requirements and expeditious settlement.
