THE Philippine peso strengthened against the US dollar on Tuesday, returning to the P50:$1 level on the back of monetary policy developments here and abroad.
Opening at P51.2, the peso gained 43 centavos to close at P50.9 versus the greenback from Monday’s P51.33:$1 finish.
