Analysts are seeing no indication of central bank intervention in the foreign exchange market even as the Philippine peso showed some strength against the US dollar last week.
Last Friday, the Philippine peso recovered against the US dollar and returned to the P50:$1 territory, gaining 13 centavos to close at P50.97. It was its strongest finish since the P50.85:$1 closing on March 12.
