LUCENA CITY, Quezon: Three local police officers and four civilian conspirators have been arrested allegedly for abducting drug offenders and demanding money for their release.
Col. Audie Madrideo, Quezon police provincial office director, reported that a joint police operation on Thursday led by the Philippine National Police-Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group resulted in the arrest of SSg. Alvin Dimaranan, 41; SSg. Samuel Merluza, 38; and Pat. John Paul Faulmani, 27, all members of the Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) assigned at Candelaria Municipal Police Station (MPS).
