THE Department of Education (DepEd) has announced the launch of “DepEd Commons,” an online platform for public school teachers to support distance learning modalities precisely to continue the delivery of basic education to learners.

DepEd Undersecretary Alain Pascua said that DepEd was “silently launching” the platform amid the enhanced community quarantine in Luzon and more than a week since classes were suspended due to the outbreak of the coronavirus disease 2019 or Covid-19.
