Local airlines would keep their operations suspended and flights canceled despite the government's decision to keep airports in Luzon open during the month-long “enhanced community quarantine” imposed on the island.

In a mobile message, David de Castro, Philippines AirAsia Inc. head of communications, said his company would still cancel all its flights to and from its hubs in Manila, Clark, Cebu and Kalibo.
