Local government units (LGUs) all over the country have continued their border controls by imposing harsher rules including profiling of incoming travelers into their cities or towns.

In Iligan City, Lanao del Norte, a community quarantine has been declared with City Mayor Celso Regencia’s signing of Executive Order 29, which mandates town and barangay (village) leaders to conduct profiling of residents to indicate their travel history.
