ZAMBOANGA CITY: The local government on Saturday suspended the entry of vessels here from Sabah in Malaysia and tightened its land border with neighboring provinces in wake of the death of a patient infected with the coronavirus disease 2019 or Covid-19 in Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental.
Mayor Isabelle Climaco-Salazar made the announcement after a series of meetings with health authorities and the Bureau of Quarantine.
