MMDA to impose curfew in ‘quarantined’ Metro Manila from March 15 to April 14

THE Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced on Saturday that strict curfew would be imposed on Sunday night as part of the government’s efforts to combat the spread of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19).

The curfew will start from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. from March 15 to April 14, MMDA General Manager Arturo “Jojo” Garcia Jr. said, citing a resolution that was passed by the Metro Manila Council (MMC), the policy-making body of the MMDA composed of all 17 Metro Manila mayors.
