DESPITE another halt in trading earlier in the day, the stock market bounced back on Friday following the bloodbath the day before after the government ordered state pension funds to buy more equities.
The benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) climbed by 1.005 percent or 57.67 points to end at 5,793.94, while the wider All Shares inched up 0.03 percent or 0.87 point to close at 3,493.64.
