HOUSTON: AN ASTEROID will approach our planet tomorrow at breakneck speeds of more than 21,000 meters per hour — but does the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) expects the space rock to hit us?

Should the rock veer off-course and into our planet, the systems will alert NASA of the imminent danger.
