President not backing down on VFA termination

President Rodrigo Duterte will not back down on his decision to terminate the country’s Visiting Forces Agreement (VFA) with the United States despite the Senate’s move challenging his unilateral action before the Supreme Court.

Duterte said the government was beginning to count the “180 days” until US troops “pack up and go.”
