BAGUIO CITY: The city government led by Mayor Benjamin Magalong received from an anonymous donor, represented by a Garry Vasquez, 10 environment-friendly electric-powered scooters that could maneuver even the city’s rugged terrain to be used by Baguio City Police Office personnel in keeping peace and order in the Summer Capital. Vasquez said 10 more scooters from the donor will be arriving anytime soon and can be used by members of the city police force to improve their mobility. Other donations given to the city government by different individuals and corporations include buses, coasters, trash bins and other equipment vital to delivery of basic services to city residents.Two buses from bus companies are now being used by the city government in ferrying employees from different parts of the city to city hall.
