Labor group to employers: Avoid layoffs

A labor group has urged companies to implement forced leaves or work rotation and shoulder temporary losses instead of laying off workers because of the impact of the Coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) outbreak.

Labor group Partido Manggagawa (PM) made the call after holding a tripartite meeting with the Department of Labor and Employment.
