THE Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Wednesday said that Saudi Arabia imposed a temporary travel ban on Filipino tourists as a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) in the kingdom.

The DFA said the following were covered by the temporary travel ban: Umrah Visa holders and tourist visa holders "from countries judged to pose a particularly high risk of spreading the virus, including the Philippines."
