THE Philippine National Police (PNP) ordered the temporary "grounding" of police aircraft, after a helicopter with PNP Chief Archie Gamboa and seven others on board crashed in Laguna early on Thursday.
"We ordered the temporary grounding of the entire PNP fleet of rotary-wing aircraft as a standard procedure while an investigation is underway," Maj. Gen. Benigno Durana Jr ., the acting PNP spokesman told reporters.
