ZAMBOANGA CITY: Military forces continued their assault on lairs of the terrorist Abu Sayyaf Group in Sulu province in southern Philippines where fighting killed at least two ASG members and wounded two soldiers on Sunday, officials said.

“Pursuit and deliberate offensives continue to pressure and pound down Abu Sayyaf fighters, constricting their movement and preempting terror ploys in the ZamBaSulTa area,” Lt. Gen. Cirilito Sobejana, chief of the Western Mindanao Command, said.
