With her stunning looks and impressive career outside pageantry, Bea Patricia “Patch” Magtanong was one of the strongest contenders at the 2019 Binibining Pilipinas pageant. Her suppor­ters rooted for her to win the Miss Universe Philippines (MUP) crown and eventually represent the country in arguably the biggest beauty pageant in the world.

Magtanong herself said in inter­views she trained hard and set her eyes on the MUP crown. However, as everyone witnessed, Magtanong’s dream crown went to her “Binibini” sister Gazini Ganados while she was relegated to the title of Binibining Pilipinas-International.
