Govt to repatriate Pinoys in virus-hit ship

THE government is finalizing plans to repatriate Filipino crew and passengers of the virus-hit Diamond Princess, the Department of Health (DoH) said on Wednesday.

Assistant Secretary Maria Rosario Vergeire said 41 Filipinos contracted the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) aboard the cruise ship that docked in Japan. They were admitted in a hospital.
