One of the primary responsibilities of a company is to ensure the well-being of its employees. With the outbreak of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), this has become more challenging as business leaders also grapple with the paranoia that has gripped the public, caused partly by disinformation regarding the illness.
The World Health Organization released an advisory to the public that the transmission of this new virus might be similar to the previous coronavirus outbreaks, namely the Middle-East Respiratory Syndrome and the severe acute respiratory syndrome. The human-to-human transmission through respiratory droplets, direct contact, and fomites are the possible transmission modes of Covid-19.
