Safer Internet Day was celebrated on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2020. Stakeholders joined forces across the world to work “together for a better internet.” In the Philippines, the theme was “Responsableng Paggamit ng Internet, SANA ALL!” From cyberbullying to social networking, each year Safer Internet Day aims to strengthen the understanding of emerging online issues. A topic is chosen to reflect current concerns. Privacy concerns, cyberbullying, disinformation, exposure to potentially harmful content and predatory behaviors are just some of the risks to the most vulnerable ones, such as our children.
