Pringle must step up as Thompson's return still hazy

MANILA, Philippines: With PBA Season 46 Most Valuable Player Scottie Thompson still out of commission indefinitely, Tim Cone said it was imperative for veteran combo guard Stanley Pringle to step up the plate and lead Barangay Ginebra in the ongoing PBA Philippine Cup.

Cone shared that since last season, the team has deliberately minimized the playing minutes of the 37-year-old Pringle to preserve him for the bigger games in the playoffs.
