MISAMIS ORIENTAL: Gov. Yevgeny Vincente Emano has issued a memorandum prohibiting provincial officials and employees to travel outside the country, citing the outbreak of the 2019 novel coronavirus acute respiratory disease (2019-nCoV ARD).

In his memorandum, Emano said the ban was part of preventive measures to ensure that no provincial workers traveling overseas would become carriers of the 2019-nCoV upon their return to the country.
