Govt seeks to strip ABS-CBN franchise

The Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) on Monday called on the Supreme Court to strip media giant ABS-CBN of its legislative franchise in what press freedom campaigners branded as another attack launched by President Rodrigo Duterte.
